I committed to making one small piece a day at home last spring when Covid 19 prompted campus to shut down.  I considered it teaching-research to demonstrate that even with little room or equipment, students could still continue to make artwork. “Trumpy Tin Man” combines a reference to the Wizard of Oz of someone in search of a heart, and an orange for obvious reasons. With “Toilet Paper Virus”, well I suppose that goes without saying too. “Bread of Life” could make reference to hunger, or the need to have a drink.  Cheers, and salute to health care workers!
